Where is the shop located?

We are located at 67 WEST st, Unit 416. Brooklyn, NY 11222.

To get to the studio, use the elevator to the 4th floor, take a right and follow the hall. We are located on the right of the fork.

What are the shop hours?

We are primarily an appointment shop so do not have consistent hours. If you need to talk with an artist it is best to reach out via the contact page or through their instagram.

How can I book an appointment?

Click the “BOOK NOW” button on the home page or an artist portfolio and fill out the form. Hive will get back to you shortly!

Is there a shop minimum?

Hive is a collection of artists that each run their own businesses and each have their own policies on pricing. Please reach out to hive through our contact page or to the artist directly for their minimum.

Does the shop take walk-ins?

Hive is a collection of artists that all run their own businesses and set their own hours. We sometimes offer walk-in days that we will announce in our newsletter and instagram! if you would like to get tattooed by a specific artist, please fill out our consultation request form.

Do you do piercing, cosmetic tattooing or tattoo removal?

We do not offer those services at this time.

Can I book a consultation over the phone?

Yes, we can book a consultation over the phone, however, due to our inconsistent hours, booking online though our consultation request form is best. You can find the button on the home page and the portfolio pages.

Can I get a price quote?

We cannot give price quotes over phone or email. Each artist handles their own pricing and will be able to talk to you about estimates after your consultation. You will not be asked to leave any deposit before you have discussed pricing with an artist.

Can I get my deposit back?

All deposits are non-refundable. Each artist handles their own deposits and have their own policies. The deposit will hold your tattoo appointment slot and also goes toward all of the time preparing you tattoo. If you absolutely need to reschedule an appointment we require at least a 48 hour notice. Please discuss any other deposit policies with the artist you are getting tattooed by.

I'm not 18 yet. Can I get a tattoo?

No, current state law requires a person to be 18+ even if they have parent/guardian permission.
